Essex Gateway Lighthouse Monument.
Essex, MD, 2022.
Commissioned by the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce, this permanent public artwork replaces the long-standing Essex Cube and welcomes over 30,000 passersby daily in Essex, Maryland.
I designed and illustrated the monument’s four-panel lighthouse, with each side exploring a different theme—past, present, and future—through vibrant visual storytelling. The artwork features symbolic elements like a tribute to the historic Sky Park, the 1975 Super Sunday Festival, local businesses, and the Chesapeake Bay’s unique wildlife. The piece celebrates Essex’s identity and evolution, honoring its history while reflecting the spirit of growth, resilience, and community pride.

Vinyl illustration and installation for bus shelter on Columbia, MD, 2025.
Vinyl illustration and installation for bus shelter on Elkridge, MD, 2025.
Commissioned by Howard County as part of a beautification initiative, I designed and installed two permanent vinyl artwork on existing bus shelters. One at Howard Community College in Columbia, and the other at Washington Blvd & Dorsey Rd in Elkridge.
Conceived as a cohesive series, the murals transform everyday transit spaces into vibrant, site-specific artworks that celebrate the region’s identity. The designs incorporate flowing lines, local fauna, and agricultural elements to reflect movement, energy, and community pride.
I led the full process, from concept and illustration to file prep and on-site installation, ensuring each piece was visually impactful, durable, and tailored to its surroundings. Beyond visual enhancement, the murals provide shelter users with shade, color, and a sense of place.

Invited by Southwest Business Improvement District (SWBID).
Washington, DC, 2024.
Installed at 4th & M Street SW in Washington, D.C., Tapestry of Unity is a permanent public artwork created as a large-scale vinyl wrap. The vibrant digital composition celebrates the spirit of Southwest D.C. through a dynamic blend of nature, community, and iconic architecture.
Anchored by the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge (a symbol of connection and progress) the artwork features blooming cherry blossoms to represent renewal, mallard ducks gliding along the Anacostia River, and the silhouette of the Washington Monument in the background. At the heart of the piece, seven diverse figures stand in solidarity, representing the neighborhood’s inclusive, multicultural identity.
The artwork honors Southwest’s unique cultural fabric and ongoing commitment to unity, resilience, and pride.
Hand-painted planter for the Baltimore County Public Library, Pikesville, MD, 2025.
Series of 6 planters
Commissioned by the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, I was invited to create a series of six vibrant, hand-painted municipal flower boxes for downtown Pikesville, Maryland. Each planter design reflects a unique aspect of the community—celebrating local businesses, honoring historical landmarks, and highlighting the neighborhood’s character and charm.
Painted in 2024 and installed in 2025, the series contributes to the area’s beautification efforts and adds a joyful, artistic touch to the streetscape.
Invited by Towson’s Creative Partnership, I contributed to a city-wide beautification initiative by painting municipal structures in the downtown area from 2020 to 2022. As part of the “Flower Box” campaign, the project aimed to bring public art directly to the community, transforming everyday infrastructure into colorful, uplifting landmarks.
My work included both abstract and nature-inspired designs tailored to complement nearby businesses, along with the classic BGE electrical box. This effort fostered local pride and engagement with the arts.
The project was featured on the front page of The Towson Times and covered online by The Baltimore Sun. [Click here to read the article.]
